Zero Credit

As the US grows in a variety of colors, the (g)OP limits itself to greedy self-deceived white men and women plus a few deluded wannabes of color. It's brilliant strategy of lunacy and glaringly adolescent maleness has worked wonders so far. Keep up the "good" work.

After 36 hours of intense soul-searching, excuse-making and kudos-hoarding, we came to the conclusion that the intelligence of voters knows no bounds when it comes to the struggle for truth, justice and the American sunny day. Voters and Campaign Workers get 99% of the credit. We voted for a Democratic President, a Democratic Senate, AND a Democratic House (dirty courts pre-disapproved). The sandy hurricane gets zero credit.

If Karl Rove is the loyal pet of the Bush clan and is really really terrible at investing other people's money, has he ever thought about chasing rabbits for a living? Karl, did you forget to do all of the proper registering in Virginia?

Eight people who worked the hardest to prevent
US citizens from voting:
Carol Aichele of Pennsylvania, Ken Detzner and Rick Scott of Florida, Scott Gessler of Colorado, Jon Husted of Ohio, Matt Schultz of Iowa, Rick Snyder of Michigan, and Scott Walker of Wisconsin. I'd rather call them the 8 people who failed.

"A Giant Sucking Sound" by Leonard C. Goodman, In These Times,
Just a bit from the article:
". . .the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement (TPP), which is sold as a 'free trade' agreement for the Pacific Rim and is being pushed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the top lobbying group for American corporations.
The terms of the TPP have been kept secret from the public for two years and only made available to the negotiators and a select group of corporate partners. However, a draft of the agreement that was leaked in June reveals the TPP would bestow radical new powers upon multinational corporations, including one provision that would protect the pharmaceutical industry from generic competitors and others that would allow companies to override domestic protections for the environment and for workers. New TPP investment rules aim to eliminate 'Buy American' preferences for U.S. manufacturers.
Obama's support for these secret corporate-friendly policies directly contradicts the Democratic platform . . ."

Cherokee Proverb

There is a battle of two wolves inside us all.
One is evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed,
resentment, lies, inferiority and ego.
The other is good. It is joy, peace, love,
hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth.
The wolf that wins? The one you feed.

From one paragraph:
"First, he's [Obama is] the only one standing between us and a bitter, extremist, white-conservative agenda that would undermine civil rights, healthcare and environmental progress, destroy our economy (again), and leave us begging for mercy. . . ."

Mr. Ryan, I like how you distanced yourself from "those" values, but included yourself in the "great" part.

Deal With It

http://www.addictinginfo.org/

When Mitt Romney decided to tackle a universal health care system for Massachusetts, at the same time he was even more motivated to make Massachusetts 47th lowest in job creation and the most bankrupt state in the union. How else, but by disaster, does the man make money? Ten years after he got elected governor, Massachusetts is still recovering from the Romney failure. Now he wants to tackle the yes to male enhancement drugs/no to birth control agenda for his fellow hot dogs, but in order to do that he will have to continue hiding his tax returns and lying every day.
Deal with it.

Romney's 100 hour challenge starts today and ends on Monday, the day before the election. He challenges US to find and define ONE (1), yes ONE (1), leadership quality that he possesses. So far, 21 people have guessed and have been incorrect.

Are 100 hours enough time? What about 100 years?
