Usually, a system slowly rolls up the offending freedom fighters, then slowly pushes them into flattened afterthoughts in the margin. The Sinn Fein and the Black Panthers are 2 examples. Once in awhile, a system thinks it is too brutal to play follow the leader. That faux pas will slowly trip it up later.
