Current and Ongoing

Once upon a New Year's Eve, himself had SHAFTA up his sleeve
Twisted bushes enjoyed whitewashing reality and lore
Base estaters nodding, undecideds napping, most medicinally tap tapping
Then they started rapping, rapping for the Florida spoor
And fake lawmakers muttered nonsense behind a reason-proof door
Daylight revealed smoke & mirrors, much was less & nothing was more.
*
John Boehner is rusting from the inside out
Mitch McConnell's bribers are what he's all about
Paul Ryan spreads his selfishness with a smiley pout
And make a note: Dick-in-the-Face needs more organ grout.
They call it doing "business."
*
Georgie Goy Sr. was not the first killer in his clan nor the last
He wanted to know who cared, due to his words & actions & past
A hospital room for receiving
Worshippers and their believing
Was the perfect stage for the entire crew & most of the prepaid cast.
*
So a kheda was built. The rest is current and ongoing.

"Behind an Amp"

Welfare by Any Other Names
Have you heard that the ceo's and boards of corporate farms, the energy and war corporations, and the drug pusher corporations will be required to be tested for drugs? It's probably because they are on welfare and a drain on society.

From "Running With Scissors A Memoir" by Augusten Burroughs, Picador, 2002, page 109 in the paperback:
"Because he moved out of our home in Leverett when he was sixteen [author was 7 years younger], my brother was never involved with any of the Finches. He had met them and considered them 'freaks.' He also considered our parents 'freaks' and remained as far away from them as possible. He was designing electric guitars for the rock band KISS at the time, so I viewed him with a remote sense of awe.
Once, he even let me hang out with him and the band like a groupie. They were playing the Nassau Coliseum in New York and my brother not only paid for me to fly all the way out there, but he met me at the airport in a white stretch limo.
I got to sit next to the stage and watch the band rehearse. I got to see them without makeup. I even got to watch Paul Stanley talk on a portable phone that was the size of an assault rifle.
At one point, Gene Simmons came over to me and joked, 'Hey, little boy. Wanna see me without my clothes?'
I wanted to tell him 'Yes.'
He laughed and stripped off his jeans so he could put on his stage clothes.
I kept watching until he gave me a funny look and stepped behind an amp."

Easter Bunny

After 4 out of 5 years of losing money
Create a controversy that isn't even funny
Nut jobs will always float
So blame it on a scapegoat
And tell us all about the Easter Bunny.

As a Body Lay on the Ground

". . . the officer opened fire while backpedaling and falling to the ground, getting off three shots. One of those shots killed ______, and once more, as a body lay on the ground . . .".

Real Robots Don't Apologize

Don't apologize
Keep squeezing through the cries
Who cares if someone dies
Don't apologize
My, how time flies
Finally one of the guys
Don't apologize
Feelin' those power highs
After all, everybody lies
Don't apologize
Whose turn to go for coffees and pies?
Won't listen to people's sighs
Don't apologize
The bind that hurts and ties
Are only the wise asking the whys?
Don't apologize.

Tender Feelings Again

My heart aches for Louis Zamperini. He experienced "far too many scenes of sadistic brutality" in his young life. He was "one man enduring beating after beating after beating." Please don't make people have to think about the reality of  being Louis Zamperini. That hurts their tender feelings again.

Tender Feelings

This just in: Officials will not call a halt to assassinations and executions (2 of the Fox Instigator Channel's favorite words) of people on the street. But they will call a halt to protests of that policy. Protesting hurts their tender feelings.

His Face Re-Arranged

Can we get some privacy over here?
or
Why aren't there ever dealers in the backyard?

Sometimes when a boy goes outside at 10 in the night to score
some dope to get him through another boring family vacation,
he gets his face re-arranged.

Not Afraid

In trying to be more useful to the world,
North Korean trickster agents
Might hack the accounts of the point oh one "gents"
Even they are not safe
Those capitalists without faith
It won't be hard to learn new cuisines in tents.
*
When the U.S. government went from enjoying a modicum of moral standing in the world to standing on its finest morals and crushing them, it went from pretend exceptional to habitual criminal. We call that "Iraq and Gitmo." We call that the Bush family Iraq and Gitmo of torture and death.

Cairenn of the dark curly hair

Disappearing crowns

Don't shoot, copper. I'm only wearing a shirt with words on it.
I'm only outside. I'm only human. I'm only alive.

Torture is not torture.
Evil ideas and deeds are not evil ideas and deeds.
Failures are not failures.
So say the afraid who are not afraid.

Never Able to Leave the Island

There were basically 2 classes in Cuba - the very wealthy (who became middle class in the U.S.) and the very poor. The wealthy always smell threats to their cash and gold and act quickly, while the poor are still trying to survive the day. In the 1950's, the Cuban wealthy smelled that smell and scattered everywhere. In the 1980's, the poor and those labeled as criminals left Cuba. The adolescents and teenagers who fled in the 50's - the baby boomers - have no affection for the people who were never able to leave the island.

James Risen

Using a false front of the crucifiction cult and a back room practice of secrets and hot air, the U.S. government operates on the fumes of its imaginary past glory. As the vassal state of the Sauds and the self-appointed murderer of the globe, it has always had and continues to have an anti people goal. The U.S. government has neither the intelligence nor the will to adapt to a changing world. Or maybe, just maybe it does.

So Clever

350 million dollars was stolen from Florida state pensioners. It is said the crime leads from Enron to Jeb Bush. Transparency that!

Can't Do The Math

Bird Flu Bush and Dick-in-the-Face
Sold out Uncle Sam for a case of mace
To pillage and plunder
And drive people under
Crazy town buses full of oil soaked space.

The Keystone Kochs are clowns with too many cars
Whispered bribes to make US eat sands and tars
Having no excuse

Better store some truth and some water in jars.

Make it Rhyme

On Sundays and Once Upon a Time
Refried freezer burns hijacked a crime
Money didn't pay
Writing didn't stay
Couldn't they take it back or at least make it rhyme?

Them

The police murder a person out on the street for committing a minor crime or for looking suspicious, and the police bosses are sick enough to say that particular murder is more than okay with them.

Oh Queso What

After loons took out loans with Lonnie and stood in line with Lyn and tried to cover their liens with a lens, they were forcibly returned to post racial land lanes. Rules are rules.

Dear Mr. or Ms. Policeperson,
re: Shoulder-mounted police cameras and policing the police
Your first camera "malfunction" is free. Each subsequent "malfunction" will cost you one day's salary. Sometimes you have to be good and show your best side.
Love, One of the people who pays your salary.
