Seaan, son of Cathan, was a battler and a hostage-taker by inclination. He was a looter by design. To suit his warlike purposes, he occasionally aligned himself with others of his kind. The most recent partnership was with the beautiful veiled dancer who inspired terror - Graeme, grandson of Art the Lonely. Their first joint project was to paint a gray picture with a laugh up their silken sleeves and two shakes of a scapegoat's tail.

Other Fun Things

Tzar Elto is trying to kick Warfare-In to the trash bin because Warfare-In sensibly requires waaaay too much stinkin' oversight. If we do it Tzar Elto's way, in front of Mr. Nobody's careless eyes, we will be free to do everything but quit. Quitting kills with the mother of all strokes, and other fun things.

While the Chicago Tribune repeatedly wastes its headlines and time on a private corporate war against public schools, it wonders why it is such a failure at making money or reporting the real and important news. Have more strategy meetings! Make up even more ways to grab the cash!

That Ever Was

Greezy and Wheezy, conjoined constrictor snakes whose pale skins never enjoy the light of day, do errands for the backwards heirs of yesterday. Last year, this year, and maybe next year, the errands were, are, and maybe will be overspending on privatized invasions of sovereign nations while blaming workers for their inalienable rights of health and housing. Cheesy is the snakes' squamate spokesperson, excuse me, political hack, who is interchangeable with every other political hack that ever was.

Several Explanations

Which washed-up former politician calls birth control and health care Big Things when those issues concern people who inherited as much money as he did, but Small Things when they concern the rest of US? He admitted that his congenital pettiness entices him to want to take away those Small Things. Did you know there are 53 kinds of nuts?

Let's Be Thankful

Petraeus, which rhymes with betray us, is and always has been a Bushie working for the old cons. After a lifetime of his activity, his wife is lucky she never got a disease. So, don't let the door hit you while we recoup, redupe, and regroup. Oaths mean nothing to some and they mean everything to others.
Now, what's going on with Hastert, which almost rhymes with bastard.
Let's be thankful.

Those Two

Robert Burns, 1785:
But little Mouse, you are not alone,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best laid schemes of mice and men
Go often awry.
And leave us nothing but grief and pain,
For promised joy!

*
What is the opposite of a "fiscal cliff"?
   1. The Bush/Obama tax cuts expire and we start to take care of the People and the infrastructure.
   2. The Estate Tax continues to be in effect because, for the good of the country, the heirs must learn fiscal responsibility and to pay their own way.
   3. We begin to pay off the debt.
That is the opposite of a "fiscal cliff"
*
What is "compromise"?
Compromise = settlement of differences by mutual concessions; an adjustment of conflicting claims, principles, etc. by yielding a part of each.
It is one of the signs of human intelligence and adaptability.

A Very Promising Beginning

Secession petitions have been sent to the White House as they are after every election. This time with Texas and Louisiana leading the way, and Murray Energy coal miners in Ohio are losing their jobs as a Koch/Romney thank you note, and the biggest progressive radio station in Portland Oregon was just punished by Romney/Bain and turned into a F_x Sports station. The republican strategy meeting to discuss attracting the people who did not vote for them has produced a very promising beginning.

Sedition = any act, writing, speech, etc. directed unlawfully against state authority, the government, or constitution, or calculated to bring it into contempt or to incite others to hostility, ill will or disaffection.

He uses the media to lie and hurt people and to employ other losers who lie and hurt people. A dirty judge may say differently, but lies are not free speech. Lies are not Democracy. How Else?

http://www.randirhodes.com/main.html - It's Friday!
*
From a republican spokesperson in Ohio: Conservatives in the House spent the last several years of do nothing obstruction by encouraging corporate scheming, reducing spending for the common good while increasing military spending, preventing the bush/obama tax cuts on the wealthy from expiring, planning to take away the safety nets of Medicare and Social Security, removing the poor from Welfare, narrowing energy exploration to only fossil fuels, increasing the debt, and inserting the government into doctor exams and personal lives. Why doesn't the majority of people like us anymore?

After 36 hours of intense soul-searching, excuse-making and kudos-hoarding, we came to the conclusion that the intelligence of voters knows no bounds when it comes to the struggle for truth, justice and the American sunny day. Voters and Campaign Workers get 99% of the credit. We voted for a Democratic President, a Democratic Senate, AND a Democratic House (dirty courts pre-disapproved). "A Giant Sucking Sound" by Leonard C. Goodman, In These Times,
Just a bit from the article:
". . .the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement (TPP), which is sold as a 'free trade' agreement for the Pacific Rim and is being pushed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the top lobbying group for American corporations.
The terms of the TPP have been kept secret from the public for two years and only made available to the negotiators and a select group of corporate partners. However, a draft of the agreement that was leaked in June reveals the TPP would bestow radical new powers upon multinational corporations, including one provision that would protect the pharmaceutical industry from generic competitors and others that would allow companies to override domestic protections for the environment and for workers. New TPP investment rules aim to eliminate 'Buy American' preferences for U.S. manufacturers.
Obama's support for these secret corporate-friendly policies directly contradicts the Democratic platform . . ."

Cherokee Proverb

There is a battle of two wolves inside us all.
One is evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed,
resentment, lies, inferiority and ego.
The other is good. It is joy, peace, love,
hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth.
The wolf that wins? The one you feed.

Deal With It

http://www.addictinginfo.org/

When Mitt Romney decided to tackle a universal health care system for Massachusetts, at the same time he was even more motivated to make Massachusetts 47th lowest in job creation and the most bankrupt state in the union. How else, but by disaster, does the man make money? Ten years after he got elected governor, Massachusetts is still recovering from the Romney failure. Now he wants to tackle the yes to male enhancement drugs/no to birth control agenda for his fellow hot dogs, but in order to do that he will have to continue hiding his tax returns and lying every day.
Deal with it.
