I don't think you should take our failures at everything as a reason to give up. Sure, my original gun legislation proposal was loved, loved I tell you, by me and the NRA. But geez, at least tempers can be cooled off in the hot and humid summer with concealed guns from our own d*mn pockets. At least I did that. Excuse me. At least WE did that.
