Old news can be interesting. For instance, for 2 years Paul Ryan got survivor's benefits from Social Security and he used the money for college. It reminds me of Ryan's mentor, Ayn Rand, when she was on Food Stamps, the hypocrite part not the college part. Then there is the private meeting with bankers, Ryan's immediate dumping of stock, and his protestations of innocence, saying it is never insider trading when he does it. Who knows what favors Ryan's staff did for the chair of Plan 2008 at the University of Wisconsin. Who knows? Paul Ryan approves of construction unions only, especially when the projects are federally-funded. He is against all of the other unions. Could the family business - "Ryan Incorporated Central" - be the reason construction unions are on Ryan's short list of approvals? Endogamous mergers are always nice this time of year.
